This week in Hereford Class

Wow! Nativity in just over 2 weeks, where have the weeks gone? Our Nativity is on Tuesday 10th December at 1.45pm and 6pm. There is no immersion curriculum this week as we are taking time on speaking & listening activities, drama and singing to prepare for our production of 'The INN-spectors'. Please help your children to memorise their lines, using expression. This is the reason you will not have received a curriculum overview sheet this week. I hope that the children were able to articulate this to you.

We are continuing our letter writing journey whereby we are linking this to our Kenyan topic. We are writing letters to the head teacher of the school, explaining about our school and some fundraising events we are planning in the new year.

We will finish our unit in maths of fractions of objects and amounts and will use this knowledge to apply it to fractions of shape.

In RE we have been looking the symbols of different faiths and where they pray. We will continue this, this week whilst looking at what are the benefits of belonging to faith communities.
