This week in Hereford

Firstly I would like to say thank you to the parents of Hereford for such a positive parents' evening. It was a real pleasure to talk to you all and discuss your child and their progress. They have all had a fantastic year and adapted and coped so well to school closures and remote learning. They should be so incredibly proud of themselves. I certainly am!

This week in Hereford we continue with our story journey where we will be retelling the story of 'The Tiger Who Came To Tea' by Judith Kerr. We will breaking this into sections and writing our own versions. We will then plan a new story by changing our characters, which we will write after the half term.

In maths we will finish our topic on interpreting and drawing pictograms based on data given to us.

In RE we will reflect on the teachings of Jesus and on this terms value of generosity. In our classroom we have had a 'generositree' and we have been showing ways that we are generous to ourselves and our family as well as our community and the wider world.

Please remember it is an INSET day on Monday 7th June and children return for Summer Term 2 on Tuesday 8th. I hope you all have a fantastic half term and that everyone gets a well deserved break! I look forward to welcoming you back for the final term of the year. Where has the time gone?
