This week, we will be immersing ourselves in geography and will be learning about the countries of Europe and the counties of Britain. We will be looking at some of the physical features as well as the human, and will be looking for evidence of Roman occupation using maps on a variety of scales.

In maths, we will be delving into division and will be learning more effective formal methods, before applying our skills to problem solving contexts. We will also be speeding up and becoming more accurate with times table facts. Over the last few weeks, we have focused on the 4, 8 and 6 times tables and the children have made pleasing progress!

In RE, we are returning to the story of Noah, and looking at the covenant he made with God. We will then make links between God’s promises to Noah and the promises that are made at Christian wedding ceremonies.

Please don't forget that weekly spellings are available via our class page on the website, should you need an extra copy.
