This Week in Friesian Class
This week, we will be focused on our new writing journey in English, where we will be writing our own science fiction adventure stories in the style of The Wild Robot by Peter Brown. We will be focused particularly on our choice of expanded noun phrases so that we are purposefully using interesting vocabulary to capture our readers' interest.
In guided reading, we will be starting a new book, Stig of the Dump, by Clive King - I am sure many of you will remember this from your own childhoods!
In maths, we will be learning about shape, and in particular about angles.
In our Immersion Curriculum time, we will be finishing off our work on health and wellbeing, before moving on to art work which will be all about weaving.
On Friday, it is the KS2 Dodgeball Tournament - please don't forget to send children in in their PE kit, with a water bottle. Please note that there will not be any Outdoor Learning for Friesian Class on Friday.
