This week in Friesian Class

This week in Friesian Class, we will be starting a new unit of work as scientists, where we will find out about the human body. We will focus on the skeleton, the digestive system, including teeth, and will learn about health and nutrition as well as how genes pass on familial characteristics.

In maths, we will be continuing our work on fractions and will be challenging ourselves with the Amberley Rapid Recall Club Maths challenge.

In English, we are very excited to be taking part in a live lesson with former Children's Laureate, Michael Rosen, and will also be continuing our work on journey stories, as we compose our won versions of Michel Morpurgo's Kensuke's Kingdom.

We are looking forward to seeing you at parents' evening this week. If you have not been able to book a slot yet, please do get in touch with Mrs Russell, in the school office.
