This Week in Belted Galloway class

This week we started the week with Year 6 visiting court for their mock trial event. The children were superb, they learnt a lot and played their parts well, and we ended up winning the trial! In English, we are completing our work on exploding the moment in stretching narrative writing. I am looking forward to you seeing your children's work from this genre in parents evening later in the term. We are starting a Science topic in our immersion curriculum work this week which is centred around properties of materials, and we will be looking at dissolving in some depth. In RE, we will be looking at the idea of Christ as the Saviour in the build up to Easter, while maths involves us looking at percentages.
