This Week in Belted Galloway class

This week we will be carrying out our topic work on World War 2 in the build up to the Remembrance day commemorations on Thursday. We will hear from a guest speaker on Monday, and explore some of the reasoning that led up to the war, as well as exploring the propaganda posters and considering evacuations. In English, we will be starting a block of work on Flash back Narrative with links to the war: we will be using a short animation called The Piano to inspire the children to write. Maths will involve work on the formal method of division this week, while in RE we will be beginning a block of work on the Christian idea of Jesus as the messiah and what that means.
