This week, Belted Galloway class will be beginning their learning by taking part in a movement and music block of work linked to their previous learning of World War 2. Our visit to the war memorial to pay our respects will also occur on this day, making it a poignant time. We will then be working on a PSHCE topic looking at aspects of citizenship and British values: we will be exploring the themes of liberty, respect and tolerance through work on personal identities, personal opinions and conflict resolution.

In English we will be focusing on writing non-chronological reports, while in maths we will be developing the children's written methods of division. We will also be having a problem solving GECKO session in the middle of the week, giving the children the chance to work collaboratively to solve a range of problems.
