This week in Belted Galloway

As we get later into the term, the children of Belted Galloway class will be coming to the end of a number of topics and completing their end of term assessments in order for them and us to find out how far they have come and what they need to do next term to continue improving. We will be finishing our RE block of work on Hinduism. I have been blown away with the children's interest and enthusiasm for this topic: they have shown a high level of curiosity and an open approach to learning how others live. IF you haven't done so already, ask your child about our RE topic on Hinduism, and I am sure they will surprise you with the depth of their understanding. We will also be bringing our History topic of the Mayans to a close, but will be celebrating our learning early next week with our first ever history GECKO challenge! We are mid-way through our maths work on fractions, and this will continue into next term.
