This week in Hereford
We can't believe where the time is going! We only have 12 days left of school. Y2 children are having additional move up days with Mrs Crampton as the new Dexter starters have mornings in EYFS with Mrs Penn. This gives Miss Holden an opportunity to work with the current Y1 children and the current Dexter children, ready for next year. This is a great opportunity for all year groups to get to know their new classmates and routines.
In English we are writing a newspaper report in full. We are reporting on the fantastic sports day that was held on 28th June.
In maths we are really concentrating on rapid recall skills for: number bonds and multiplication. Please continue to do this at home.
We are starting a new unit in computing where we will be designing and creating our own greeting cards. We will research different cards and then use applications to make them.
In RE we are continuing to look at sacred and non-sacred places and discussing why these places are special to different people, communities and faiths.
We are looking forward to watching the Y6 dress rehearsal on Monday - we have been hearing them practise and we know a lot of hard work goes into plays!
