This week in Belted Galloway

This week, Belted Galloway class will be completing their work on persuasive writing by taking a sideways step from informal adverts to more formal letters, looking at language, structure and tone to a greater extent. In maths, we will be exploring area and perimeter, concepts that the children often confuse, as well as linking these concepts to the more complex one of volume later inthe week. We will also be continuing our revision of the number operations, extending this to decimal numbers and fractions.

In PSHE, we will be continuing our work on drugs and keeping healthy, looking at why certain drugs are legal and why others aren't, and also dispelling the myth that all legal drugs are 'safe'.

It computing this week, we will be deepening the children's understanding of the language of Python by using it to solve mathematical problems.
