This week in Dexter Class

We look forward to welcoming the children back on Tuesday and hope that you all had a lovely half term.

This week we will be learning the sounds b, f/ff and learning to spell the tricky words no, go and to. We will update the phonics boxes that went out before the break, on Friday.

Reading books will be changed on Tuesday and Thursday this week, but will revert to the normal Monday, Wednesday and Friday next week. Please could you make sure that reading record and books are in on change days, and that phonics pots are in on Fridays.

In maths this week, we will be continuing our work on space and shape and will be looking at patterns and 2d shapes, alongside our daily work on counting and number recognition.

As the weather is becoming colder, please could you ensure that your child has a warm coat and waterproof trousers for when we are outside. We use our outdoor environment regardless of the weather and waterproofs are used to keep warm and dry (not just for welly walking).
