This week in Belted Galloway

Belted Galloway will be another industrious place this week. On Monday we will be taking part in a school trip to Chepstow Race Course, where we will be taking part in a 'Race to School' maths day funded by the national race courses. Friday sees us visiting the Everyman theatre in Cheltenham, where we will be watching two of the authors we have been studying (Kieran Larwood and Emma Carroll) talk about their writing. Two of our children, Millie and Katie, have had their work selected, and will be given the opportunity to present their work to the audience and the authors. In between, we will be preparing in earnest for our Summer play, and keeping our maths work ticking over by investigating number types.
