This Week in Friesian Class

This week, we will continue our recount writing but we will put ourselves in the shoes of Bill, the main character from our class book 'Bill's New Frock'. In maths, we will continue with geometry and the Year 3's will learn how to accurately draw 2D shapes, while the Year 4's will focus on reflection and symmetry. In history, we will look at the rise of Boudicca and we will suggest causes and consquences for some of the actions that took place at this time. We will also begin preparations for the summer production. We will be learning the songs and the Year 4's will have the opportunity to audition for a speaking part. Thursday will be our last swimming session and Friday will be sports day. I sent a letter home regarding our trip to meet our pen pals next week (weather permitting) asking children to bring a packed lunch. Please let me know if this is a problem. Thanks for all your support.
