This week in Friesian class

This week in Friesian class, we will be starting a unit on newspaper reports in English and will looking at the key features, before we start writing our own in the same style. The report we have already read relates to an archaeological dig at Hadrian's wall and has sparked an interest in preparation for our forthcoming History work.

In maths, we will be investigating angles at the start of the week, and working on formal calculation methods at the end of the week.

In computing, we will be continuing to refine the code we have written, in order to move our animated characters, finding errors and debugging them.

We are immersing ourselves in music this week and have begun to look at the interrelated dimensions of music, reading notation and performing as a group when playing the recorder.

We will be celebrating Harvest on Thursday and look forward to sharing the children's performance with you.
