This week in Dexter Class

We have reached the last week of what has been a jam packed term. The children have had some very busy days and this week will be full of fun as well! Tomorrow we will visit Horsfall House along with Hereford Class to sing a few Christmas Carols and songs from our Nativity. We also have a Christmas Lunch on Thursday as well as Christmas Jumper Day, in aid of the James Hopkins Trust AND also PE-phew!

We will be consolidating our learning in phonics, literacy and maths to show just how far we have come since September and we will also be finishing off some Christmas crafts. On Wednesday there will be a House Treat for those children throughout the school who are in Blue Team-Egypt Mill

Today, we took the Dexter children to see the Amberley Playgroup Nativity and it was a lovely experience for all of us especially those children with siblings taking part.

If your children have any simple board games that they would like to bring in to school over the next few days we would welcome the chance to play these with them this week. It's always a nice way to practise our counting!

Don't forget that we break up at 1:30pm on Friday, we don't want any children worrying that they will have to stayt at school and miss Santa!

Finally, I jusy want to say once again how proud I am of your children and all that they have achieved in their short time at Amberley. They all deserve a relaxing break with family and friends so they can come back raring to go in the New Year. Mrs Smith and I thank you for all of your continued support and wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
