This Week in Belted Galloway

This week we will be continuing our block of work on Monarchs in History. The children are really engaged and are loving finding out some of the strange quirks of the chronology of the monarchy. This week we will be looking at the Tudor period and considering how the monarchy moved in some unexpected directions. In RE we are continuing our exploration of the Easter story, with the children having the opportunity to express their thinking in artistic and poetic ways. Maths this week will see us explore perimeter in more depth before moving on to look at and solve problems using volume. This will also be a Club Maths week, which will be exciting! We will be completing our descriptive writing block of work in English this week, before beginning a non-fiction block of work on biographies, which we will link with our History work.
