Friesian Iron Age Survival Trip

What an amazing trip we had on Tuesday at Greystone's Farm! The children had a fantastic day exploring the importance of the natural environment to Iron Age survival. The children worked from an Iron Age round house replica to grind grain, make and cook bread, make a wattle and daub wall and start their own fires! Our trip leader, Ros, was extremely impressed with the children's knowledge and engagement throughout the day. I am so proud of each one of them! I have compiled all of our pictures from the trip onto a PowerPoint gallery and exported it into a video format, which I have attached below. I am hoping that you will be able to view this at home. If you are experiencing any problems, please email me and I will work on it! Thank you to all of the children in Friesian Class for making my first ever school trip so enjoyable and memorable!
