This week in Dexter Class

Welcome back! We hope that you had an enjoyable break and have managed to make the most of the glorious sunshine!
This week in Dexter class, we will be learning the sounds ear, er and air in Mrs Crampton and Mrs Smith's group and reading ccvcc words using the tricky vowel digraphs in Mrs Smith and Mrs Lury's group.
We are going to be learning about subtraction in maths and will be beginning to learn the first part of our new story, "Owl Babies" by Martin Waddell.
We are hoping to get a closer look at some of the equipment being used by the builders who are working on Culver Hill and will centre some of our writing around this.
We have an exciting term ahead and look forward to sharing the children's learning with you when they are in focus and during parents' evenings, which will take place in the week commencing 25th March. If you have any queries or concerns, please don't hesitate to get in touch either through the office, via email or through our class web page.
