This week in Friesian Class

This week in Friesian Class we are continuing our English writing journey by planning and writing our own recounts based on The Sheep Pig by Dick King-Smith, as the children are really enjoying this book in our Guided Reading lessons. In maths, we have started a new topic of money. The children have been working hard to make amounts of money using different combinations of coins, converting between pounds and pence and adding amounts of money to give change. In RE, we are continuing our Christianity topic and answering the overarching question: 'For Christians, what was the impact of the Pentecost?'. In Immersion Curriculum, we are continuing to be historians in our Stone Age to Iron Age topic. We will be learning about the Bronze Age and the Iron Age and understanding the changes that happened over time. Ask your child whether they would rather live in the Stone Age, the Bronze Age or the Iron Age and why!
