This week in Hereford Class
This week in Hereford Class we are innovating the story of Traction Man. We are thinking of our own problems and resolutions that he can tackle with his partner and pet, Scrubbing Brush. We have come up with our own hilarious ideas and Mrs Hamilton can't wait to read them! In Maths, we are finishing off our unit on addition and subtraction, Year 2, using their new written method, and Year 1, solving missing number problems through reasoning and understanding of the inverse.
We are completing Computing in our afternoons this week where we are looking at programming using Scratch. We will be learning how to get a new sprite, get to the home screen, change the background and programme our Sprite.
In RE we are finishing our journey of Judaism and we will be linking this to some of the Christian practices and beliefs.
We are excited to be watching the Key Stage 2 show tomorrow. They will be completing a dress rehearsal and we have been invited to watch this.
On Wednesday afternoon, we will be going down to the guardianship with Dexter Class, whilst KS2 perform. Please could children bring in a pair of trousers or leggings as well as some trainers to wear down there. Children must also have a water bottle as this week is set to be a scorcher.
End of year reports will be sent out on Friday.
