This Week in Belted Galloway

This week in Belted Galloway class we will be extending and applying our division skills to solve problems and puzzles. The children will be working through progressively challenging stages, aiming for self-improvement while looking to check that their answers make full sense. In English, we will be writing Non-Chronological Reports. Part of the work will be looking at technical and impersonal styled writing, and extending punctuation structures to include colons and brackets. Our new topic in the immersion curriculum will be a science based one: Grouping and Classifying Living Things. The children will be exploring the different types of vertebrates and invertebrates, and will be focusing on one in particular, which they will be creating a power point presentation to share their findings with the rest of the class.
