This Week in Friesian Class

This week, we will continue with our story writing unit. The children will be writing their own stories using what we have learnt from 'Voices in the Park'. They will write their stories in chapters, each chapter being from the perspective of a different character.

In maths, we have started our new unit on addition and subtraction. We will start by practising written methods of addition and then move onto mental methods for quick recall of addition facts.

On Tuesday, we will be having an art day, where the children will make their 'Egyptian Death Masks' that they have researched and designed. We are hoping to get all the papier mache finished by the end of the day!

In RE, we are looking at how Hindu beliefs affect the daily life of somebody who follows Hinduism. We will also discuss the cycle of create, preserve, destroy and talk about the children's beliefs on this matter.

Swimming will continue as normal and we look forward to seeing you at 9.00am on Friday for our Harvest assembly. Thank you for your continued support.
