This Week in Hereford Class

This week we are lucky enough to be attending a KS1 sports event. Y1 children will be travelling by coach to Leighterton Primary School while Y2 will be driven to Brimscombe Primary School. Parents of Y2 children - please remember to bring any car seats required for travelling, into school on Wednesday. Children will have their PE kits sent home with them on Tuesday so that they can come to school ready on Wednesday. Children will require a packed lunch and plenty of fluids. Please could children have sun cream applied before coming to school and don't forget sun hats - the weather forecast says it's likely to be 22 degrees. We are continuing with our pictogram topic in maths where children are drawing, interpreting, matching data and using reasoning skills during true or false activities. We will begin to write letters in English linked to the story of 'Where the wild things are'. Friday is sports day and we are looking forward to more physical games in the morning with races in the afternoon. Miss Holden is in the process of booking a trip, linking into our 'health and well-being week' so keep an eye out in book bags for information regarding this.
