This week in Hereford Class

What a busy start to the week! Y1 have completed their phonic screening and we are incredibly proud of them all and the progress that they have made with their reading.

In English we are beginning a letter writing topic. We will be looking at what makes a good letter; good and bad examples; features of letters and then we will move onto writing our own letters for different purposes.

In maths we are looking at pictograms, understanding what they represent, especially when the key is more than one. We will then construct our own based on data that we collect.

In RE we are continuing with our topic of Judaism and comparing their celebrations to those of Christians. We have school photos on Friday - can children please come into school in their uniform, bringing their outdoor learning kit with them.
