This week in Hereford

The term is flying by and we have just over a week before we perform the Key Stage 1 Nativity with support from the Dexter children. This will be held in the church on Wednesday 7th December 2022 at both 2pm at 6pm. Please ensure that children come back to school at 5.15pm, ready for the evening performance. Please ensure that you return the reply slip so that we are aware of numbers and tickets requested as the church does have a maximum capacity.

We are completed lots of assessments this week, showing what we have learnt since September in reading, writing and maths. We are also completing spelling, punctuation and vocabulary quizzes. I will send home some additional homework with children for the Christmas period, which may included spelling, letter formation or reading of common exception words. These will all be individualised according to each of your children's needs. We are also completing lots of nativity practice. The Amberley Immersion Curriculum will resume after the nativity where we will be having whole days on subjects, being taught all the knowledge and skills necessary to become Design Technologists, making bread, and Musicians, making music. The overviews for these will be attached to the class page in due course.

A reminder that the PTA are hosting the Christmas Tree and Movie Night on Friday 9th December 2022. Please don't forget to return your permission slip to give permission for your children to attend and watch the chosen film.
