This Week in Friesian Class

I hope that you have all had a pleasant bank holiday weekend and enjoyed the Coronation celebrations.
This week in Friesian class, we will be continuing with our writing journey on explanation texts, which will tie into our Immersion Work as historians. We will be starting a new two week Immersion unit on the Ancient Egyptians and will be looking at the achievements of this early civilisation.
In maths, Year 3 will be continuing with their work on time, and Year 4 will b learning more about fractions, and will be looking at particular at equivalent fractions of both shape and number. We will also be having a whole class Gecko problem solving session - something which is always greatly enjoyed by the children.
In computing, we will finish our work on programming and will begin learning about branching databases, as well as focusing further on online safety.
On Friday, there will be NO Outdoor Learning, but the children will still have PE, so please send them in in their PE kits as normal.
If you have not yet returned your photo permission slip for our upcoming trip to Kelmscott Manor, please could you do so as soon as possible? Many thanks.
