Sophie - Hereford Class

Following Mrs Crampton’s worship on Tuesday, where she introduced us to a school in Kenya and explained how they have very few books, Sophie went home and showed a great deal of compassion and generosity.

Please read the email we received from Sophie’s mummy:

Hi Sarah, I just wanted to let you know that assembly today obviously had a very positive affect on Sophie. She came home and told me all about the schools in Kenya and how they have no books in their libraries. She really wanted to help. After talking through ways she could raise money she went into her money box and has donated some money to book aid. The way she spoke about the schools in Africa was really touching and she genuinely wanted other children to have access to what she has at school. She is very proud of herself as she has made a difference.

Please can you also thank Mrs Crampton for what must have been a great assembly. Thanks Sim

We are so incredibly proud of Sophie and how she has used her Christian Values to make a difference to our world.

Thank you Sophie and well done!
