This Week in Friesian Class
This week Friesian Class will go back to some sort of normality after our fantastic Art Day and visit from Reverend John last week. We will begin a new writing unit, focusing on 'Overcoming the Monster' tales. In maths, we will continue with fractions and decimals, looking at solving problems with money. It is brilliant for the children to do any money handling at home, whether this is counting up loose change or working out how much change is needed from a transaction in the shops.
Mrs Harbord will be taking the class on Monday and Tuesday afternoon. She will start with an exciting science investigation, looking at light and reflective materials. She will also teach RE, continuing with our unit on Holy Week. I look forward to seeing you all at parents evening on Wednesday and Thursday. Swimming will continue as normal on Thursday.
